Our Core Values

Just like DNA is vital to the makeup of our physical bodies, the DNA of a Church is equally important. For Journey Church of Valley, our Core Values (our DNA) defines who we are and what we do.

1. We value a personal relationship with God.
    Worship is vital to that relationship.

2. We value people.
    We will love people when they least expect
     it and when they least deserve it.

3. We value relationships with other people.
    What we do, we will do together. Our Small
    Groups are an essential part of our Church

4. We value the Word of God.
    The Bible will be our guide for life and
    practice.

5. We value ministry and missions.
    It is our desire to equip our people to serve
    the Lord. We will help them discover their
    spiritual gifts and abilities and empower them
    to serve the Lord by using them.

6. We value time.
    We do not believe that keeping busy is a sign
    of being spiritual. We will protect our people
    from being over-worked. Our attitude-
    "No new ministry without a new face".
